Meet the Downs Bookkeeping Team

Christine Scott

Christine is a Registered BAS Agent and heads up the Toowoomba Office. With a longstanding history in the finance sector, having worked in the manufacturing, mining and agricultural industries, Christine has experience across many sectors.

With experience in international trade under her belt, Christine worked her way up to being a Financial Controller of a successful, locally-owned Australian & New Zealand Distribution company. 

As a small business owner herself, she understands that things get busy and you don’t have a lot of time to analyse your books. This is where Christine really excels. She enjoys providing quick and easy to read reports that summarise how your business is performing. Christine can identify areas of growth in your business and also advise potential cost savings to improve your bottom line.  

Outside of work, Christine is kept busy with three very active kids and enjoys volunteering at local sporting clubs, motorbike riding and waterskiing with her family.

Christine is Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks Certified.

Theresa Maynard

Theresa is a Registered BAS Agent and heads up our Dalby Office. With a rural background, Theresa lives and works in Dalby, where she has called home for 15 years. Having worked in small business and large corporate entities in the finance and international trade sector, Theresa has gained a broad knowledge of the different aspects required across a range of industries. 

As a business owner herself, Theresa understands first hand the benefit of being able to outsource different tasks in your business. She enjoys being able to use her project management experience to provide her clients with a hassle-free bookkeeping service, providing the support and reporting they require to see how their business is performing. 

Outside of work Theresa is a mum of two children, and enjoys travelling, sports and family time.
